International Working Women’s Day (March 8th), is a Socialist political event celebrated around the world by women’s organizations, the global labor movement and progressive countries. On IWWD we pay homage to the tremendous contributions that women workers have made in the fight for social justice.   It is a day when we reaffirm women’s incalculable value as leaders of our families, communities and movements.
